Bomb Kimchi

I was approached to create the logo for a new brand of extra-spicy, badass kimchi!

The client wanted the logo to convey the fact that Bomb Kimchi is a gut-punch of spice and flavor. The brand was also formed in and inspired by Austin, TX, so I tied in some elements of Our Lady of Guadalupe as a nod to the city and culture. The client also had a very specific typeface in mind, so I hand-drew my own version.
